Our family preservation and reunification program
West Virginia’s child welfare system faces immense strain from economic disinvestment, the opioid epidemic, and resource limitations. F.O.C.U.S. offers innovative, integrated programs to address this crisis with genuine therapeutic partnership.
Therapeutic family day program
Our prevention-first offering: an intensive, attachment-based day program with structured, clinically supervised 4-hour therapeutic sessions, accommodating working parents and court schedules.
Residential family care program
For families requiring the most intensive level of support, our Residential Family Care Program provides a comprehensive environment for healing and reunification. More details coming in Phase II.
Meaningful contact and coaching
We provide real-time attachment coaching, skill-building, guided parent-child interaction, and individualized progress monitoring. This fulfills court-ordered visitation requirements with therapeutic meaning.

Unlike traditional supervised visitation, our Therapeutic Family Day Program provides longer, more therapeutically meaningful contact. This allows families to engage in real-time attachment coaching and skill-building directly tied to case plan outcomes.
